Another successful night for Altona players at the Lacrosse Victoria Presentation Night. Congratulations to Eden Hanna-Roberts on winning the Under 17 Competition Best and Fairest making it two years in a row for Altona U18 players with William MacDonald winning it in 2018. This is a fabulous effort by Eden given he was still eligible for Under 15 in 2019 and caps off a year where he was also one of the youngest players ever to make a Victorian Under 18 State Side. Mum, Dad and Granddad must be very proud as are the Altona Lacrosse Club members.

Our other State and Australian players, Campbell Mackinnon, Nick Burgess, Lachlan MacDonald, Joel Kukucka and William MacDonald were also recognised on the night.

Also congratulations to Michael Martin-Liptak, Liz MacDonald and Campbell Mackinnon for being in the top five in Div 2, A Grade Women and State League competitions respectively. Campbell in particular missed the State League best and fairest by just two votes despite missing half the season – lesson here is DON’T ARRANGE HOLIDAYS DURING THE LACROSSE SEASON!!!!!

We also collected our Under 11 flag for the lightning premiership during the 2019 season – well done players and coaches from Altona and Wyndham.
