On 10th August, Altona Lacrosse Club held a special night to acknowledge the contributions of players in Senior Men, Senior Women and Junior grades.

It was a night where previous players at the club from years gone by returned to swap old stories and be remembered for the contributions they have made to our great club.

The milestones night will be a permanent addition to the Altona Lacrosse Club events calendar from this year forward.

Thank you to those players and members who contributed to make it a great night for the club. In particular I would like to acknowledge Shane and Val Hanniver for their tireless work in compiling most of the statistics from score sheets going back to 1964; Our Secretary Susie Liptak for arranging the Honour Boards, Graham Sharpe for the old photos, the players who have contributed so much to the club and the volunteers in the kitchen, behind the bar and in preparing the logistics for the night, who made the night such a success.
